HiLine Homes Response to COVID-19
By HiLine Hal
Dear Neighbor,
With the current COVID-19 pandemic, our hearts go out to those in our communities who have been affected by the outbreak of the virus. With many of our customer’s homes under construction and others making plans for future needs, we wanted to share what we are doing to protect our customers, employees, trade partners, and the community in general while still striving to meet the expectations of all concerned. Prior to the orders recently announced to stay at home, we had already arranged for most of our employees to work from home, so many aspects of our business have been able to operate as normal as possible.
Circumstances vary in the four states we build in and are changing daily. We are following all the directions of the authorities and taking additional safety measures like, expanding social distancing by continuing work with only one trade present at a time on our projects. We will continue working on finishing current projects, keep planned projects moving forward, and continue to assist potential homeowners in starting the home building process while following the guidelines of state and local authorities.
Where model homes are open, they are by appointment only and with only one person or family at a time using safety measures like; hand sanitizing and observing social distancing with our Home Consultant on staff, with a thorough cleaning protocol between appointments.
Where local conditions allow our construction management offices to be open, the staff is a minimal crew needed to function, with others working from home. We require that all staff and visitors adhere to safety measures like; hand sanitizing and observing social distancing, with multiple thorough cleaning protocols each day.
With the use of video conferencing, we are still able to conduct many meetings that previously would have been done in person, allowing us to plan, start, and keep projects moving forward. In areas where some of our work activities are limited by government mandate, we standby ready to resume work again as soon as we can. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience as we work together through these challenging times.
Sincerely,
HiLine Homes Ownership Group
